Paul managed and directed this ensemble over two years in 2005/6, representing Australia in South East Asia and the Pacific Island Nations of Fiji, Samoa and Tonga. The group performed in the Hanoi Opera, on the banks of the Mekong River and in villages, universities, remote islands, hospitals, orphanages and official functions.
Paul brought together 5 unique artists who represent a wide example of Australian arts practises. Albert David, Torres Strait Island dancer/choreographer, Bernadette Walong, also from Bangarra, a Murri/TSI dancer, Colin Offord, multi-instrumentalist/singer and instrument inventor, and Adam Hill, a Dungatti artist, singer and didgeridoo player.
Much of the performance was inspired by collaborations with local artists. In Fiji, the group spent a week rehearsing with the musicians from the university.
