In 2007, Head of Music and now Principal of Collegiate School,  Judith Tudball invited Paul to compose a new style of anthem for the Friends School. It was an empowering experience for all, with Paul working across all grades exploring Quaker philosophy and the way the students integrate it into their lives. Typical of Paul’s work is his willingness to embrace the culture within that school. Friends have a very strong marimba program so it was decided early on that this ensemble would unite with the orchestra, choir and even the school rock band. With the addition of harmonics, classical orchestration and strong choral harmonies, the piece ‘Let your Life Speak’ is a unique and triumphant work that has thrilled the school for years.
